First, let's all take the time time to wish happy birthday to a very special lady...my mom. While she has no direct involvement with the production of this comic, she had a pretty direct involvement in my entire upbringing. So, without her, there would be no me, and there definitely would be no Marsh Rocket. So, happy birthday, mom.

Next, Hard Graft has begun its side story, "The Interview" illustrated by yours truly. It's an 8-page short following the story's resident badass woman, Bernadette. It was quite the undertaking, especially the Prague frame, but as an artist it's important I stretch my legs every so often and do something different. So, read, follow, enjoy.

Finally, a frame of Marsh Rocket scored a small cameo in Rival Angels last week. You guys might remember that frame from Act 7 where we get the cheesecake shot of Rose getting all nice and wet by a water fountain. I know I do because I remember everyone yelling at me for drawing such lewd and tawdry things (but exploding heads is okay? You guys are weird.)

Anyway, you should check out the cameo, but also check out Rival Angels in general because it's about hot chicks wrestling, and still manages to be substantive. Al, you are a wizard!

1.  Radar : Belated best wishes to your own, personal creator. :-) It's also good to see the comics up and running again.
